About Afrina

I started developing my style, technique and bold colour before studying Architecture. From my studio in London, I now spend the daytime buying creative services and negotiating for TikTok, and the evenings indulging in my true passion; the creation of beautiful abstract pieces of art.

Art is my healer and therapy. I turn to my paintbrushes and palette knives and as I mix colours I feel the stress of my day melt away. Creating a painting is therapeutic to me and I love developing unique pieces that take centre stage in people’s homes.

My style of painting is known as 'lyrical abstraction'. My work depicts nature in the form of conjuring emotions, characterised by intuitive and loose paint handling with spontaneous expression and illusional plays on space.

My paintings aim for the viewer to be led on a journey, invoking memory and emotion, creating a connection between material and ethereal. I want the viewer to experience an unexplainable perspective, free of time, in infinite space reflecting human emotion. I carefully consider and express colour and form, through an atmospheric blend of colours, merging material and spiritual realms.
